We hired a fundraising firm that specialized in museums and arts organizations to do a feasibility study for our capital campaign. We wanted to raise about $8 million, and their study came out that we could only reasonably expect $2.5 million. We did the campaign anyway and raised $7 million, and are well on our way to that last million by the end of December '97--we WILL get it. So much for feasibility studies. All it meant was that we had to work ever harder for what we wanted, but we got it anyway. Julia Moore Indianapolis Art Center
