(sorry for not going off-list, but no e-mail address was included and cc:mail is very unhappy about headers) This was begging for it... What's a REAL dinosaur exhibit? What's a VIRTUAL exhibit? Dinamation International has a wide range of the latex-and-steel moving dinosaurs available. The museums division is based in Abilene, Texas where Jack Hull is the director. The phone number is 915/692-2329. -Steve Eichner Association of Science-Technology Centers Incorporated [log in to unmask] 202/783-7200x130 ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Looking For Good Dinosaur Exhibits Author: Museum discussion list <[log in to unmask]> at Internet Date: 7/3/97 1:51 PM Hello, Folks -- One of the staff here has asked for recommendations for good *real* (not virtual) dinosaur exhibits in North America. Not that we're being <North Americanocentric>, it's just that he wants to visit and travelling outside the continent is not financially feasible. Please do *not* feel you have to limit your responses to exhibits in children's museums. If you would respond off-list it will save band width for those who just don't care. If there is interest, I'll be happy to summarize for the list. Thank you very much for your help. -- Gregg Jackson Librarian The Children's Museum of Indianapolis "Where children grow up ... adults don't have to!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Email: [log in to unmask] TCM-I Web Site: http://www.childrensmuseum.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
