MUSEUM STUDIES SUMMER INTERNSHIP

        The Milwaukee Public Museum is offering a summer internship for
students enrolled in a graduate degree granting program in Museum
Studies. This program, sponsored by the Betty L. and M. Kenneth Starr
Internship Fund, runs from June to August and offers a stipend of $1000
for assistance in travel and living expenses.

        A variety of internships, depending upon availability, exists in
areas such as Anthropology, Botany, Conservation, Development, Education,
Exhibition, Geology, History, Marketing, Public Relations, Registration,
and Zoology.

        Candidates must be enrolled in a graduate degree granting program
in Museum Studies. They must also have completed some coursework in one
of the above areas. Candidates must be prepared to perform at least 125
hours of internship work.

        Applications should consist of a statement of purpose, a resume,
