Meg Loew Craft, a conservator in Baltimore, did a lot of work in developing
fake food and might be able to provide you with information. Also, Steven
Ray, conservator at Colonial Williamsburg, developed with Julie Reilly,
formerly of Colonial Williamsburg, now Director of the Gerald R. Ford
Conservation Center in Omaha, lots of information on how to make fake food.
Food History News, Vol. II, No.2, Fall, 1990, included several articles on
making fake food as well as listings for people who make good faux food.
