Greetings, Our museum is the process of setting up an admission system. The following question is an issue being discussed by the adminstration department. We would appreciate comments on this issue from other institutions. When a visitor is charged for admission they are given a ticket. How many museums use these tickets as a means of control over revenue. Some institutions use the ticket numbers as a means to check admission revenues. Others insist that the tickets be issued AND a second form of "check" be iniated. The "check" could be another staff member (or volunteer) taking the ticket or some other form of traffic control i.e., turnstyles, electric eyes, etc. We are VERY INTERESTED in how many museums use turnstyles. Please respond to me directly. Thanks, T.Patrick -- T.Patrick Brennan email: [log in to unmask] http://www.whro.org:80/cl/cmhh
