Job Announcement: Curator, Military History, National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution The National Museum of American History is planning to hire a curator for the museum#s Armed Forces collection. The incumbent will develop exhibits, acquire new collections, manage the care and documentation of the collection, and perform research leading to both scholarly and popular publications and programs. We seek a skilled public historian whose work has focused on 20th century military history. The successful applicant will have demonstrated the ability to develop innovative exhibitions and programs to portray military history and its relation to technology and the fabric of American society to a broad constituency.
