I'm sure such tours exist, but in visiting a great many museums around the world, I've never seen such tours offered on a regular basis. Indeed, all too many museums/sites do not even make a point of telling would-be visitors of the very low light levels they feature. I suppose I should have realized that it would be completely dark in the Nocturnarium in Kuranda, North Queensland, before I paid my $AU8 or whatever it was and started bumbling about in the dark, but I didn't - and it was very frustrating. At least I can say I've seen Australian nocturnal wildlife prowling about in the dark; I mean, they must have been there, eh? and I DID have my eyes open.... As somewhat who is only partially sighted and who is wondering what we can do about it in my museum, may I ask respondents to this query to please post to the list? Thanks, Harry Needham Canadian War Museum
