I usually stay out of the followup discussions regarding SPAMS, but the recent "God Loves You" spam went to many newsgroups and ended up on many listserv discussion lists. Several factors to remember: 1. The people who posted the message used a FAKE return e-mail message. Rather cowardly. 2. If you try to reply to the message you are replying to the entire list and your reply is going to more than 1400 subscribers. 3. Looking at the newgroup header the origin of the posting was from the spirit.com domain. A check as to who owns the spirit.com domain: $ whois spirit.org Grandville Assembly of God (SPIRIT2-DOM) 3260 52nd St SW Grandville, MI 49418 USA Domain Name: SPIRIT.ORG Administrative Contact: Godfrey, John F. The message posted was, in my opinion, posted by a coward who was afraid to stand behind their posting with a real e-mail address.
