These postings have taken up a great deal of space in people's mailboxes (sometime over 1 mb) and sometimes take a long time to download. The jist of these messages has been that people have become upset with the Getty for putting such files out over the list or they have simply deleted the messages without ever reading them. In either case, I don't think that is the reception you and the museum hoped your messages would receive. You may want to pass this information along to other members of your staff.
