Reading Eric's message about the NY Museums Council meeting brought back fond
memories of Audubon Terrace when I used to work at the Heye Foundation (which
never should have left, in my opinion, but that's another story).  It certainly
is a wonderful piece of architecture that has all but been forgotten in the
larger scheme of things in NYC.  I especially remember a wonderful Cuban-Chinese
restaurant that used to be just a few blocks away.  Sorry, I know this has
nothing to do with the original post, but I just couldn't help myself...
