POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: EXHIBITS COORDINATOR (State Library Information Services Coordinator) Position #0096 SALARY RANGE: $29,957-$45,740 (GRADE 12) DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates all phases of The Library of Virginia's Exhibits Program from conceptualization to research to installation to removal of regularly scheduled rotating exhibits. Ensures efficient use of time, money, and resources; meets aesthetic and conservatorial standards; and enhances the Library of Virginia's mission as an educational and cultural institution. Experience with all forms of exhibit development and installation, including scheduling, construction, design, conservation, marketing, and external cooperative efforts. Prefer master's degree in fine or commercial arts, museum studies, history, library science, or a related field and extensive full-scale exhibits experience. A valid driver's license and security check is required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with all forms of exhibit development and installation, including scheduling, construction, lighting, conservation, and marketing.
