Pam Sherman's closed a while ago, but there are still plenty of great places
in the Uptown area. Try Giorgio's, Lucia's, or Figlio's for Italian, the
Lotus for cheap Vietnamese, or Annie's Parlor for a good burger. After
dinner you can walk down Lake Street to Lake Calhoun or Lake of the Isles,
just six blocks from Hennepin Ave, and enjoy the sunset.

And if you are so inclined, check out First Avenue (where the movie Purple
Rain was filmed) for live music and later on dancing to "house" music. Or,
the Fine Line, the Times Bar and Cafe for jazz and blues, or Ground Zero for
bondage night. It may be cold up here, but there is plenty to do!

Ciao!
