We have a phenomenon now of older students re-entering the museum studies field with a great deal of experience desperately needed by the museums. I've worked in advertising and publishing, and have experience that could be traded for hands-on experience in other areas. I had classmates in the same situation who were treated as if they were 21 and that's a real waste of resources. I'm 41, which I don't think of as old until I realize that means 20 years of working! (and understanding what work means). -- ROBBIN MURPHY, creative director, artnetweb [log in to unmask] -- http://artnetweb.com 426 Broome Street, NYC 10013 212 925-1885 NEW THIS WEEK: http://artnetweb.com/resource/new.html
