Responsibilities include: design and produce Web pages and online interactives, including graphic user interfaces (GUI's) and demonstrations for Web publication; work with Web publisher, Web Master, and Exhibit Developers to design original graphic content; support design and production needs of other departments including marketing/PR materials, brochures, fundraising materials, signage for exhibits, and others as needed. Requirements: 2-3 years experience with multimedia and Web page creation; proficiency with Mac & PC graphics software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Virtus, QuarkXpress, RayDream etc.); familiarity with 3D rendering and GUI development; ability to prepare files for output; print buying experience is a plus. Responsibilities: write press releases, produce newsletter and PR/collateral materials, organize media events, develop working relationships with local media and corporate PR departments, develop and maintain media lists. Requirements: 2 years of experience in PR (Bay Area preferable); excellent written and oral communications skills; excellent computer skills including database software, desktop publishing software, e-mail and the World Wide Web; degree in Journalism or equivalence; knowledge of Spanish or fluency in language other than English is a plus. EXHIBIT DEVELOPER ----------------- The museum requires a highly enthusiastic, self-motivated, multi-talented, and creative professional to complete development of an exciting new 8,000 SF exhibition on technological innovation. The Exhibit Developer will also be responsible for creating and nurturing new and productive relationships with exhibit sponsors in industry. The successful candidates will display extraordinary research, creative development, and project management skills. Candidates who are articulate and polished presenters; possess superb interpersonal skills; and be able to work effectively under budget and time constraints with designers, fabricators, educators, industry, and management will be best prepared for this demanding position. Requirements: 5 years of experience in product design and development, exhibit development, or engineering; at least two years of experience as a supervising manager and project/budget management; knowledge of Silicon Valley companies and products is desirable.
