Association Assistant The Association of Youth Museums has opened a search for the Association Assistant position responsible for the day-to-day coordination of association activities. Specific responsibilities include: maintaining current membership database, providing technical assistance to members, implementing registration process and managing registration at InterActivity, coordinating conference logistics, writing and designing AYMNews, producing annual directory, coordinating reciprocal membership program, assisting advocacy efforts, general office duties and various other assignments. Applicant must have a B.A. or B.S. degree, strong administrative and organizational skills, excellent writing and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and a strong teamwork ethic. 1-2 years in a nonprofit/arts/museum setting is preferred. Expertise is necessary in the following PC programs: Word, FoxPro, Pagemaker and Lotus.
