It was noted that in the Jackson, Mississippi exhibition that the
rooms are recreations by Russian craftsmen.  Yes, they are recreations.
If you visit the same palaces in Russia, you will also see recreations.
After WWII, almost all of the palaces around St.Petersburg (then Petrograd)
were little more than ruined shells.  The magnificent rooms that one walks
through in the palaces of Peterhoff, Tsarskoye Selo and Pavlovsk are all
restored masterpieces.
