Some time back we had a discussion about this, and we determined that a very good program was VISTA.--it does tour scheduling, ticketing, facilities/room scheduling, people scheduling, etc. plus demographic and other reports, for $995 per user. As for anything cheaper, well, I had some suggestions to investigate some of the calendar programs out there. I have Calendar Creator Plus, and it does beautiful graphics and it has very flexible scheduling options. The manual gives instructions on how advanced users can make it a room scheduling tool, but as far as I can tell it doesn't save you many steps, just makes your work prettier and easier to read. I also have Schedule Plus--it's a Microsoft product (advantage if you are running a Microsoft-based network) but it's not as nice. If you find anything else, let me know.
