Years ago (early 1980s) I curated a collection of historic asbestos samples which had been accumulated by the American inventor Thomas Edison at his laboratory in West Orange, New Jersey. The samples were in sealed bottles and labled. We purchased a modern hazardous chemicals cabinet and stored the collection under lock and key.
