Check starting teacher salaries - they tend to be higher (by region) than
museum salaries, not equivalent.  In addition, teachers can take their
prep work home; they do not need to be in the classroom eight hours a day.
Many museum professionals not only have to work those hours but put in
overtime on exhibitions or other job-related tasks.  Teachers also get
more vacation time.
