They are innovative in their displays as well as their presentations (iron foundry, liquid nitrogen?, lasers). They have created a most interactive environement. The Power Plant is a contemporary art gallery offering very cutting edge work displayed in cutting edge ways with cutting edg reading material on the work. I can't praise the P.P. any more than this. Also the Bata Shoe Museum has reopened (several months ago!) with quite innovative displays about the history of...SHOES! (of course). The pride and joy of the designers (graphic, etc.) in Tornot is the Design Exchange. I believe they opened two or three years ago (?) and they display multimedia, interactive, exciting stuff. I do not believe that they have educational programs but I could be wrong. I hope this helps. BTW, pack some warm clothing!! -- Joshua Heuman [log in to unmask] Art History Undergraduate
