We are a small community museum located in a Boston suburb, and we are
going through an identity crisis.

We are an historical landmark, a multicultural meetingplace, an historical
society and city museum. We are struggling with how to portray ourselves
to the community so we can be identify and meet the diverse needs of the
constituencies of each of the above organizations.

We are interested in hearing from museums that have struggled with the
same identity crisis, and learning how they handled this. Our concerns
are as complex as "What do we name ourselves?" and as simple as " How do
we portray this on our 'business' cards and stationary."
We look forward to hearing from anyone who can help.

Thank you very, very much.
