Having lived in Los Angeles for many years I disoverd several plants that have proven quite smog resistant. Best luck was achieved with the Plasticus polymeri. They were relatively easy to take care of, but once a year needed a major hosing. They did better than the Bombyx Arachnidae which tended to dry out and fade in the sun. They did not take well to water. Best results of all were achieved with Ceramicus porcellana, but these were by far the most expensive and tended to be fairly heavy. (With apologies to all my friends in arobreta and botanical gardens.) ______________________________________ Robert A. Baron Museum Computer Consultant P.O.
