Margaret Truman has "Murder in the Smithsonian" which I must confess to not having read. Also Richard Timothy Conroy has set at least two mysteries in the 1960's Smithsonian. One is "Mr. Smithson's Bones", another has an elephant in the title, and I believe the newest is "Old Ways in the New World. Linda - I'd be interested in a compilation of what you come up with.
