Please help me publicize a new source of small grants for work in the area of Latin American art (contemporary, non-US). I'm hoping that anyone with information to share on scholars, institutions, galleries (US or foreign) or artists will at least make themselves known to the foundation. Thank you in advance for your help. Ten to twenty such grants will be made in 1994; THE DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF 1994 APPLICATIONS IS DECEMBER 1. 1995 applications will be reviewed quarterly; deadlines are February 15, May 15, August 15 and November 15. International Symposium on Contemporary Latin American Art: In cooperation with the California State University, the Gumbiner Foundation will sponsor its first International Symposium on Contemporary Latin American Art in Spring 1995. A modest honorarium, travel and housing will be provided to participating scholars.
