The May 9 issue of The New Yorker has an interesting piece by
Adam Gopnik on Pierre Chareau's "Glass House" in Paris:
 
"Pierre Chareau built his Glass House in Paris to accommodate the
modern ideals of a social circle that included Cocteau and
