Gentle readers:

Two items from today's NY Times (Thursday, Feb. 3, 1994) that
I thought would be of interest to the list:

"The Great Building Collection, a Designer's Library of Architecture
on CD-ROM."
Due for release next month this disk will contain
600 examples of architecture and landscape design in color and black-
and-white photographs supplemented by architectural drawings,
3D computer models, video clips and sound--from the Palace of
Minos at Knossos to the Pyramide du Louvre of I.M. Pei. For more
information: (212)254-9499. (p. C3)

"Despite Big Gifts, Museum Cuts Back."
"Just weeks after receiving two major donations, the Guggenheim
Museum announced cuts in its staff and operating hours. (p. C11)
