X-To: [log in to unmask] To: Multiple recipients of list ARCH-L <[log in to unmask]> Could anyone post particulars on the various standards (and the issuing organization) for the ethical acquisition and maintenance of archaeological collections, and the disposition of deaccessioned collections? I'd be most grateful for references to formal, published guidelines or standards. I'm particularly interested in comparing standards issued by American organizations to those compiled overseas, or specifically dealing with international collections or the purchase of antiquities.
