Dear Museum-L Community,

 

The Digital Library Federation (DLF) team is now seeking planning committee members for our annual conference, the DLF Forum. This is a great opportunity to get involved with the DLF, a community of practitioners who work to advance research, learning, social justice, and the public good through the creative design and wise application of digital library technologies. 

 

The Forum is a community-based event at its core, and the planning committee is integral to work on the conference program, fellowship awards, event sponsorship, and community cultivation, including accessibility and inclusivity efforts and social and wellness activities during the conference. 

 

We intentionally compose our committee of folks from a variety of backgrounds: those who have attended our events and supported the planning in the past; are totally or mostly new to the DLF; are in fields adjacent to academic libraries, including archives and museum workers; and who are in a variety of roles at different types of organizations, including research libraries, HBCUs, liberal arts colleges, community colleges, large and small museums, archives, nonprofits, and more. 


Time commitments vary, and you do not have to attend the events in person in St. Louis to participate on the planning committee. Volunteer to join us by Friday, January 20, on the form located here. If you have questions, you can reach Team DLF at [log in to unmask].
