Large Solar Flares Imaged From Other Side of Sun

Large solar flares, known as coronal mass ejections (CMEs), have been imaged on the opposite side of the Sun, from Earth, by a new NASA and European Space Agency (ESA) spacecraft, known as Solar Orbiter.
