Hello everybody! Hola a todos!

My name is Laura Rincón, a 2nd-year Museum Studies Master’s student at the University of Florida with a concentration in collections management, particularly interested in either Natural History or Design collections.

During this outbreak time, I've decided to create a circle within WeAreMuseums collaborative community platform called Collections Lit Club where colleagues with experience in the field and emerging museum professionals like me will be discussing powerful literature about collections in an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere. 


One of the principal goals of our circle is that, I would love to talk about those topics that are hardly discussed, also I would like to get a better understanding of my field from the cutting-edge literature, museum professionals in our field, and hear about your experiences, your frustrations and how you would like to see a change!

The circle will be a space built within us, where we will be able to learn from each other, look into some solutions, improvements, and bring a breath of fresh air to collections.
