I've been working with a variety of historic sites that have been doing this.

It's either been a virtual tour with a live narration - so someone clicking through the virtual tour and drawing audience attention to specific pieces and answering questions in real time - or a video tour where the docent is walking through the museum in real time with someone filming them. In that case, the audience is not interacted with in real time, but there has been a Q&A after. Attendees asked their questions in the chat and someone pulled them out at the end to ask the guide.

Hello everyone,

Has anyone considered or is implementing zoom tours as an alternative to a guided docent led tour?

Thanks!

Open April through December, Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is one of the most important remaining examples of an American Country Estate built during the Industrial Age at the turn of the twentieth century.  Stan Hywet was the home of F.A. Seiberling, co-founder of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, and his family.
