#ARCSchat returns in July for one more episode before a brief summer hiatus. Join us on our YouTube Channel this Friday the 10th at 2PM ET as we recap the events of this past year and introduce our new ARCS leadership, President Toni Kiser and Vice president Samantha Forsko.

In this chat we’ll explore the various new initiatives ARCS has planned for the coming year and solicit audience feedback on programming and goals you would like to see ARCS explore moving forward. Most importantly we will explore the need for an ARCS IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access) Task Force and the necessity for our organization to take action in response to the recent Black Lives Matter Movement that has prompted an international response. We'll discuss how a lack of diversity in our field affects our collections and institutions, possible changes, and how ARCS can support efforts to bring about these changes institutionally.
