How about a sign in various places that say “Museum Manners” and try to use positive language when coming up with the rules.

Does anyone have any strategies or positive signage for how to "teach" children and parents about how to conduct themselves while in the museum?
When we have tours of children, we can give directions, but when general visitors enter the museum to visit on their own we seem to have an issue.

Increasingly, we encounter really wild kids---and parents do not seem to care, or are not aware that their child's behavior is an issue.

Curious how others have found a way to make such visitors feel welcome but also learn to be respectful of the space and other visitors while in the museum.

Thanks for your help....
