Webinar: Web Archiving: What, Why, and How

Knowledge of archiving web-based content is an increasingly important skill for those working with and interested in historical documents.  This webinar will include an overview of web archiving, and delve into collection development, terminology, processes, tools, workflows, and access methods. Specific use cases will be spotlighted, such as archiving online exhibits and social media, to give attendees some practical examples to take back to their institutions.

 

Webinar: Break the Budget Bubble: How to Build and Read Budgets

March 20 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm EST: $40 – $65

This 90-minute webinar provides an introduction to budget/financial literacy with guest instructor Becky Beaulieu, author of Financial Fundamentals for Historic House Museums (Rowman & Littlefield, 2017). Becky will discuss basic terminology including types of budgets, income, and expenses along with how to create and evaluate a budget so you can prepare for informed and cyclical budget planning. Join us for this valuable lesson on budgeting that will prove useful for years to come.
