Dear Colleague,

The American Alliance of Museums in conjunction with our Education Committee Professional Network (EdCom) has assembled a Task Force charged with testing whether there is a general field-wide agreement for a new Core Document related to education, and if so, what it is called and what it should include.

We are surveying the field to find out what museums already have in place that articulates their educational philosophies and/or guides decisions about the development and delivery of their educational role. We are also interested in collecting samples (see survey for directions).

We hope you will take 15 minutes to complete the survey and help inform this important work.

Feel free to share this survey link with others. We want to ensure that data and perspectives of museums of all types and sizes, and a diversity of museum professionals, are represented.

On behalf of the entire EdCom Task Force, thank you in advance for your time, insights, and expertise.
