The Portland Art Museum invites applications for the position of Exhibitions Registrar. The Portland Art Museum’s mission is to engage diverse communities through art and film of enduring quality and to collect, preserve, and educate for the enrichment of present and future generations. The Exhibition Registrar performs a critical role in the fulfillment of this mission by coordinating registration of all in-house, borrowed, and traveling exhibitions.  This role assists in the stewardship of permanent collections, loans, and associated documentation; and includes supervisory oversight of an assistant registrar and occasional project staff. This position is full-time working 35 hours per week. The salary range is $50,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. The position is eligible for the Museum's benefits package first of the month following 30-days of full-time employment.
