I have a patron who owns what he calls a bayonet which he inherited from
his great grandmother. He believes it came from Michigan.

Are there any military experts here who would be willing to help us
identify the piece and date it?

I have images, but the list serve will not let me post them. You can
contact me directly at [log in to unmask]

Thanks, from a non-military historian.
