Summer Internship Announcement

 

The Andrew County Museum, located in Savannah, Missouri, an hour north of Kansas City, is a county museum and historical society focused on preserving and displaying the Rural Way of Life of the county through permanent and temporary exhibits. We are looking for one to two students for a 150 hour summer Collections-focused internship, preferably for school credit. Upon completion of 150 hours of satisfactory work, interns will receive a $1000 stipend. While the internship will focus on collections management, interns will work in exhibit design, installation, and removal, as well as educational programming and event planning. Start date of the internship and schedule are negotiable and flexible.

 

Applicants will need to provide an application form, resume or CV, cover letter, and at least one letter of reference.
