Our neighbor museum in Rock Springs, Wyoming is hiring a full-time Museum Coordinator. This a great city museum with an amazing building and lots of potential. Rock Springs has a fascinating history since it's on the transcontinental railroad, emigrant trails, and the Lincoln Highway. It was also the headquarters for the Union Pacific Coal Company. Butch Cassidy reportedly got his nickname from working in a Rock Springs butcher shop. Downtown Rock Springs (Main Street) is really committed to economic development and historic preservation and they've restored several historic buildings to create some fantastic venues for downtown events (they won a national Main Street award last year). This museum also has a lot of community support.
