I’m working on a museum project and the client is considering building a living history site to complement their interior exhibits. I’ve found Laura Peers’ Playing Ourselves a useful resource in understanding some of the strengths and weaknesses of contact era living history sites. So far, I’ve not found any sites that handle the pre-contact era. Does anyone out there know if such sites exist?
