If so, I would not recommend removing it. Gawain, yes that was what I expect and the advice I gave to the staff who brought it to my attention. But I wanted to be sure so figured I would throw the question out there. Laura, no it’s not original to the photo. It look almost like an old fashioned, long before Photoshop, way to crop out an image in a photo. If you try to salvage the photos yourself, you may actually end up doing more harm than good. And do we know the paint is not original to the photos? Like...is that something the creator did to them? If so, that is part of the object and should not be removed, in my opinion. Good luck!
