Dear Colleagues, The Dallas Museum of Art is accepting applications for the 2017-2018 McDermott Internship, a paid internship that provides those with undergraduate or graduate degrees in art, art history, museum studies, and related fields the opportunity to explore a museum career. Nine internship positions are available, five within the Curatorial Department and four within Education. Interns spend nine months working closely with staff in their areas as well as those across the Museum on a variety of exhibitions and programs. Interns are also provided opportunities for cultural enrichment outside the Museum with local performances, museum visits, and collection tours, as well as the opportunity to request $500 toward qualified professional development.
