50th Anniversary: NASA's 1st Tragedy of the Space Era
Fifty years ago today (on 1967 January27), NASA experienced the first tragedy of the Space Era when threeastronauts were killed in a cabin fire during a launch rehearsal testof their Apollo 1 space capsule.
