Job opening at Chippokes Plantation State Park in Surry, Virginia, for a Historian/Archaeologist and Preservationist II/Museum Manager.
I
worked at Chippokes for several months in 2012, organizing their
records after the Chippokes Farm and Forestry Museum became the
responsibility of the Virginia State Park system. It's a beautiful
place with a great collection of agricultural equipment (primarily 20th

Note that the application must be submitted to Chippokes by mail or in person: there is no electronic application process for this position. It is a wage position, meaning limited hours per year and no benefits. It is open until filled.
