Course Description:

This course will provide practical guidance to creating and organizing successful exhibitions. Step-by-step instructions will guide participants through every aspect of an exhibition, from the beginning idea to the full-fledged exhibit. Quizzes and homework assignments allow participants to put their new-found knowledge to use.

• Identify the key steps for a successful exhibition from start to finish
• Discover the benefits of creating an exhibition
• Recall and apply preservation techniques needed during exhibition
• Recognize common mistakes to avoid when organizing an exhibition

When does the course start and finish?

This course starts on October 3, 2016. It is a self-paced online course designed to be completed within 5 weeks. Participants will spend approximately 2 hours each week on viewing lectures, answering quizzes, and completing discussion, reading, and homework assignments. It is recommended that you complete each week's work within that week to stay in sync with other learners.
