Applications for the Terra Foundation for American Art Visiting Professorship (2017-18) at the University of Oxford are due on September 30, 2016.

 

In pursuit of its global mission, the Terra Foundation for American Art has recently expanded opportunities for the study of historical American art in Europe, including a new teaching program that builds on the University of Oxford’s outstanding resources for the advanced study of art history and North American history, politics, literature, and culture.  We call your attention to this one-year visiting professorship, for the 2017-18 academic year.

 

The key objectives of this program are to:


The visiting professors will become members of the History of Art Department and will also hold visiting fellowships at Worcester College. For more information about this opportunity, please consult the University of Oxford website

Applications for the 2017-18 Visiting Professorship are due at noon on September 30, 2016. Interviews are expected to take place in Oxford during late October or early November 2016.
