Hello,

We are preparing our self-study for AAM reaccreditation and in doing so, we are reviewing and updating our Collections Management Policy.

There is a section in our CMP which states that "Every ten years an independent appraisal by an outside appraiser will be obtained for the entire collection." Do other small museums, historic sites or house museums do this regularly and/or include it in their CMP?
