Hi Melinda, I've had great results with Miele vacuums. You can get them with HEPA filters, variable suction and a set of microtools. Add in a screen and your own soft brushes and you're good to go. I've bought them for two museums that did not have budgets for a Nilfisk. Good luck, Jane LeGrow Registrar & Director of Exhibitions Lyman Allyn Art Museum Sent from my Sprint phone. ------ Original message ------ From: Melinda Mccrary Date: 7/11/2016 10:06 AM To: [log in to unmask]; Subject:[MUSEUM-L] Affordable Museum Vacuum?? Hello Listers, Does anyone have experience in purchasing an affordable museum vacuum? I found several products online labelled museum vacuum with the hepa filter, but they are all a couple thousand dollars. Is there a traditional vacuum that can be modified for museum purposes? A low suction option is necessary for our purposes. Any advice is much appreciated. Will take my answers off list. :-) Have a great day!
