Hello Emily, Well, (almost) anything sealed can be unsealed. Emptying sealed tin cans is common place for Museums and I can't see the vials being any harder to get into. I'm assuming the vials are glass which will take a little extra care but I find it hard to believe that the vials cannot be unsealed in some way. The donor may not want the vials emptied and is using the sealed vials as a reason. When we told the donor, her response was that the vials are sealed/frozen shut and cannot be emptied. We’d be grateful for any advice/insight regarding this situation. Thanks!
