ExhibitsUSA, in conjunction with the McClure Archives and University Museum, is pleased to announce the traveling exhibition "Traditional Arts of the Bedouin."

http://www.eusa.org/exhibit/Bedouin
Out of Region Rental Fee: $6800
In-Region Rental Fee: $3400 before 7/1/17 and $4080 after 7/1/17.

The exhibition includes approximately fifty-three artworks and artifacts, from elaborately embroidered textiles and embellished jewelry to ceremonial coffee accouterments and incense burners, as well as several photographs depicting Bedouin craftspersons at work.

The very essence of the Bedouin culture is understood through its impermanence–with constant movement across the sands of both time and space. Visitors to the exhibition will learn how Bedouin arts and crafts frequently bridge the gap between aesthetic and utilitarian purposes, as well as recognize the unique tenacity of Bedouin traditions in an ever-changing political, social, and environmental landscape. The exhibition also has an excellent education package for K-12 with co-curricular materials and in-exhibition experiences.

ExhibitsUSA is now accepting bookings for the exhibition through June 2019. For more information on booking, exhibitions specifications and details, and costs, contact ExhibitsUSA via the exhibition webpage: http://eusa.org/exhibit/Bedouin.
